We’re appealing for witnesses following a serious road traffic collision that occurred in Sandy last month.

Shortly before 12pm on 7 November, police were called to the scene of a two-vehicle collision on Vinegar Hill near Hatch.

A motorcyclist sustained serious injuries after colliding with a grey BMW at the slip road junction between the A1 and Vinegar Hill.

PC Peter Hoddy, investigating, said: “We’re keen to speak to anyone that witnessed this incident and the events leading up to it.

“If you were travelling along this road at the date and time shared and have dashcam footage - we would like to hear from you.

“We understand that members of the public stopped to administer first aid at the scene, we would ask you to please get in touch also.”
